"Mr Baird from Scotland an existing DPT used enquired as follows; i have a DPT diesel tuning module which i removed from my BMW 335d,which i have now sold. I am purchasing a Mercedes Vito sport x(204 bhp). "Mr Docherty was a happy DPT user having a unit on his Jaguar X Type 2.2. He upgraded his vehicle to a new Jaguar X Type 2.0 and enquired if he needed to have the unit reprogrammed & what charges were involved. We check and assured him the unit could be transferred withour any changes and thus no additional costs. Mr Docherty emailed to advise ; Thanks for the info re swapping the module onto my 2.0 x type from my 2.2. I didn't do the original install but I simply reversed the uninstall I did myself and it is working like a dream, I was really surprised that the module makes such a difference to a brand new car straight out the box!!!!"

"Mr Burman an existing & happy DPT user recently approached us as the the Vehicle Manufacturer of his latest car had advised that fitment of DPT would automatically invalidate his warranty. We contacted the manufacturer in question to advise that they were potentially in breach of European Legisllation and asked them to check their stance re DPT and vehicle warranty. After investigation they replied as follows; you are fine to fit the DPT box to your car, it will only invalidate your warranty should there be a direct engine failure due to the DPT unit - Martin told me this has never happened and they have a £2 million insurance scheme in place if it should. Glad we have sorted this out and sorry for the misunderstanding on our behalf, I hope you can understand from our point of view we need to protect ourselves should a warranty claim arise and it turns out that we said you could fit the DPT unit without it effecting your warranty. Mr Burman ws extremely happy stating; I will hang on to the e-mails during the warranty / servicing period for my new car in case the situation arises again. I will also continue to expound the virtues of DPT units to all and sundry, with the added proviso that the after sales support is second to none. It is highly unlikely, but I hope I might get the opportunity to meet you at some point to thank you personally. Who knows, one day DPT units could be as common as Corn Flakes! My original e-mail stated I was glum and needed cheering up, and you have cheered me up no end, I'm really happy now. Thank you very much indeed."

"I have had a chance to try the car with the caravan on the back and the difference is amazing, on the long hills on the M1 around Loughborough the car use to slow down and change down but now it goes straight up the hills in top and does not slow down. The unit has been fitted for a few months now and has had the effect of making the engine smoother with noticeably more torque. Also the fuel consumption is now averaging just under 28 mpg whereas before it was typically 23.5 - 24 mpg. With my annual mileage, this means that the unit pays for itself in about 5 months. "Mark, it is three weeks since you fitted the tuning unit to my Mercedes Benz CLK CD220i and what a difference! Acceleration is much improved both from a standing start and during normal driving. The car is an automatic and when kickdown is used it flies. For the first 1000 or so miles since I bought the car the computer gave an overall MPG reading of 41.5 mpg. Since I had the unit fitted I have covered another 600 miles with an average of 44.7mpg. On a recent return journey to Windsor of 300 miles I saw 49.5mpg. I reckon that I should now average around 44-45mpg whilst using the extra power. I would like to thank you Mark, for the friendly and professional way you went about fitting the unit and your follow up call to see if all was OK. I will definitely recommend both you and the unit. "

"I have recently had one of your units fitted to my 2003 Audi A3 Sport Quattro 1.9 TDi PD, and I would like to congratulate you on my findings. I am yet to discover the full benefits of the unit as I have only had it for a day, but I have seen a decrease in fuel consumption on my frequent journey. I am also very pleased with the performance; gear change is smoother and less frequent, and all together has transformed the driving experience of my Audi from very good to outstanding. I can't help but have a beaming smile from ear to ear every time I turn the key. "Although fitting to my peugeot 306 HDI was a little awkward due to the location of the CR sensor the whole process was simple. Immediate results! I had considered a remap but the tuning box is so much less invasive and works excellently. "'I run a Hyundai Tucson. Its the 140 bhp version, but still it lacks a bit of power and its a heavy 4x4. The tuning box has made the car smoother, the gearing a lot better and it pulls faster and harder. I have the performance setting on it as I have a caravan also. I've not towed with the tuning box yet. Even with the performance setting I am seeing a consistant improvement in mpg. On a measured / frequently covered journey of Derby to Bristol I was previously getting an average of 38 mpg I'm now getting about 43 mpg - so a 13% or so improvement and that is with driving a bit fast and harder. Round town were previously the car was getting quite poor mpg (didn't really measure it, but it drank diesel) I am seeing round the 30 mpg mark. Its also easier to drive in town due to the extra power and therefore less gear changes. So all in all a good investment that will pay for itself quite quickly."

"Saab 9-3 1.9 Tid - 150 BHP Just an update of how i am finding my DPT. On the way up to having the unit fitted, i was averaging 54mpg. On the return journey i averaged 68mpg (I even saw it go upto 78.4mpg at one point). I have noticed that the car ticks over better, is also smoother running and it doesnt have as much engine breaking either. My journey to work i usually see about 42.5mpg to 44mpg, however last night it went to 54mpg. Overall, i am very pleased and have already told a few people about it. "

"I thought you might like some feed back as to how the installation of the tuning box went with CC Motors in Sheffield yesterday. Well, it was a very nice experience. Chris Cowthore was extremely pleasant. The attention to details in the way he fitted the unit was just first class. All the cables were very carefully routed and tied back, then checked and rechecked to ensure they didn't chafe against the bodywork, the fuse was nicely positioned so I can get to it easily, excess lengths of wires were trimmed and terminated properly. He even added spade connectors to the battery for ease of disconnection/reconnection in the future. I have not seen anyone who takes so much pride in doing a good job since I last saw a master mechanic aligning a main engine to a gearbox of a police launch over 20 years ago! He then took his time and explained to me how the whole system is connected up etc. I simply cannot fault a single thing. What could have been a 10 min job took the best part of 1/2 hour to make sure it was "just so". It is very reassuring to know that there are still people like Chris around. "

"Just to let you know the result of fitting the power box to my camper van at the N.E.C. on 20/10/07. My van is a 2007 4.5 ton Burstner T821 tag axle van with the new Renault 2.5 150hp engine. From new I have had a lag in power when exiting a corner or roundabout until the revs rise, this is why I gambled on the DPT box. Since fitting, the problem has totally disappeared, and the power increase is exceptional, beyond expectations. Also, diesel consumption has gone from the best previous of 25.7 mpg to a present 28.9, which for a big van is astronomical. Being a new engine to you, you anticipated that the horsepower would go up to 184 from the factory 150, could you let me have official figures so that I can advise other campers for you. "The DPT device is working faultlessly in my car, producing 211bhp or thereabouts, with around 300lbs ft of torque from 1450-3900rpm. Its fuel economy has improved dramatically to exceed the Official Combined figure of 49.6mpg. In fact, it is currently returning 51.3mpg average, a phenomenal result, in normal daily operation. The acceleration has improved, dropping the 0-60mph blast down to a petrol equalling 6.8 seconds, while the top speed (confirmed by the GPS smart-nav device fitted to my car) is a genuine 161mph. So, has it improved? You had better bloody believe it! And I have been writing as much. "

The jump to 520 from 440 in torque makes all the difference. In fact its even giving a better mpg on the perfromance setting, so am really pleased so far with your product. So impressed am actual saving up now to get one fitted to my audi. "
